Locating Suitable Host Families
Access to a quality homestay is often a defining factor of an international student’s experience studying abroad, so it is this which we strive to give to our students. We are dedicated to ensuring that the students we serve are provided warm and suitable homes with caring American families who live within the vicinity of the school area. All hosts must pass a careful screening process that includes a criminal background check. Our trained staff ensures that all selected hosts are properly motivated and prepared to invite their young international guest into their homes. What we seek is much more than room and board: our hosts are caring individuals that are dedicated to enhancing the experience of international students in the U.S. by providing them with inspiration to embrace and understand both the American way of life and the role it can play in their personal growth.

Local Staff
As a host, you can expect local support on a variety of tasks, such as helping you coordinate meeting your student upon their arrival, ensuring that you have all necessary documentation, and helping you stay connected with the school community. Regular check-ins ensure that you always have a watchful eye to provide support, to prevent misunderstandings, and to help mediate if issues arise.
Your local coordinator will provide access to regular events that keep you and your student engaged in the experience and connected with others within your host community.
